Live music Now is a national charity (England, Wales & NI) that takes live music in care homes, community settings and hospitals. We train early career professional musicians from across the genres to do this .
We specialise in working with people living with dementia. Our delivery ranges from one-off participatory concerts to extended residencies, and includes working closely with care professionals to develop their own confidence and skills in using music as part of a day-to-day musical care toolkit.

During the pandemic we have created a extensive library of free online live music concerts which can be viewed at https://www.livemusicnow.org.uk/lmnonlinecare
We all have weekly free Facebook Live concerts every Wednesday at 2pm, which can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/livemusicnow/live/
Our vision is a world where the transformative benefits of live music are accessible to all. Its core purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups through evidence-based music programmes. We achieve this by working with children and young people in special schools and older people in care homes through participatory live music, delivered by trained professional musicians.
